Comment photographier l'incessante vibration d'İstanbul ? Cette ville où le regard s'affole dans les cohues, escalade les minarets, s'égare dans les ruelles, s'éblouit des étals, s'aveugle des éclats et des lumières ; ville où le regard s'enfonce dans les eaux impétueuses, galope sur les ponts fourmillants, cingle vers les multiples rives en effervescence.

C’est ainsi que j’ai commencé à réinterpréter İstanbul, puis d’autres ambiances.

EN • I like to underline that my impressions about İstanbul have become the backbone of my current work. 

How to photograph the ceaseless vibration of İstanbul? This city where the look panics in the hustles, climbs the minarets, gets lost in the streets, is dazzled by the stalls, or blinded by the brightness and the lights; city where the look sinks into the impetuous waters, gallops on the swarming bridges, heads for the multiple shores in turmoil. 

That is why I have started to represent İstanbul in my own way, and later many other atmospheres.
